What we do

New Beginnings Tattoo Removal specializes in laser tattoo removal, and offers cosmetic teeth whitening and fractional CO2 treatments. We use only the best FDA approved equipment and offer personal and compassionate treatments and aftercare.

The tattoo ink is broken into tiny particles by the laser, and then the ink is digested naturally by the body.

frequently asked questions:

Q: Does tattoo removal hurt?

A: Tattoo removal can be painful. A lot people ask us if it feels like getting a tattoo. Our answer to that is no. Removing a tattoo feels more like an electrical shock with a bit of heat, as where a tattoo feels more like a pinch with pressure. The good news is tattoo removal is very fast. A tattoo the size of a credit card should only take around 60-90 seconds to treat. We also use cold air before, during, and after treatment to help minimize the pain. A medical-grade numbing cream is also included, and can make the removal a bit less painful. For clients who have a very low pain tolerance, we do provide a special numbing treatment for an additional cost.

Q: Can I tattoo over the area I get laser tattoo removal on?

A: Yes! Just a few sessions of laser removal on your old tattoo will help your new, cover-up tattoo look much cleaner. Plus, your artist will thank you!

Q: How many treatments will it take to remove my tattoo?

A: How many treatments you will need depends on what kind of ink was used in the tattoo, the location on the body of the tattoo, if the tattoo is professional or amateur, what skin type you have, and if the tattoo is new work or a cover up. We provide free consultations and flexible hours for you to come in so we can better determine how many treatments will be right for you.

Q: Will the laser tattoo removal treatments leave a scar?

A: When laser treatments are preformed properly, the risk of scarring is extremely low. It is also important to follow the aftercare instructions given at the time of treatment to avoid any scarring. (For example, picking at the tattoo after removal or being in the sun without sunscreen can cause scarring and should be avoided.)

Q: How long do I have to wait in-between laser tattoo removal treatments?

A: We recommend waiting at least 6 to 8 weeks in between treatments to allow the body to fully dispel the ink broken up by the last laser treatment. Treatments too close together can also result in hypopigmentation (the skin getting lighter). Brand new tattoos need at least six weeks to heal before the first laser treatment can be done.

Q: Will my tattoo completely disappear?

A: Lasers will generally eliminate about 95% of the tattoo.

Q: What type of post-treatment care is necessary after laser tattoo removal?

A: At the time of treatment, we will talk about as well as provide a handout with very important aftercare instructions. We highly recommend that our clients follow these instructions to provide the best outcomes. Most clients have zero downtime and can return to most of their daily activities immediately after treatment.
